Camp Sangamon

Camp Sangamon is a small, progressive overnight camp in Vermont for curious, thoughtful boys and non-binary kids who shape their own adventure every day. Campers live simply and totally unplugged in cabins, explore the outdoors, and choose their daily activities—from hiking and water sports to arts, blacksmithing, horseback riding and community projects. With a strong culture of kindness, responsibility, and independence, Sangamon celebrates diverse identities, personalities and interests while emphasizing community, kindness and respect. Many campers return year after year, forming deep friendships and gaining confidence through shared adventure and meaningful participation in our Camp community.
