Girls on the Run teaches girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a research-based curriculum that creatively weaves running into the program. Over the course of the 10 week program, teams of 3rd-5th and 6-8th graders meet twice a week for 90-minute sessions to make new friends, learn self-confidence and prepare themselves physically, socially and emotionally to complete a celebratory and noncompetitive 5k to culminate the season.
