Providing space and place for children to grow and flourish by interacting with the land base they are a part of, our summer programs provide students with a balance of inquiry-based nature activities that focus on the cultural history and ecology of Central Vermont, personal self-awareness, and wilderness skills. This combined with a large amount of unstructured nature play in Sage Mountain’s forests, streams, gardens, and meadows will provide ample opportunity for kids to discover and nurture their inherent curiosity in the natural world while improving their self-awareness as individuals and members of a collective whole.
