Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School

For over 25 years, Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School has offered camp programs for youth looking to get outside, explore, and have fun! Known for being more than just a rock climbing camp, Petra Cliffs SumMAT (Summer “Mountain Adventure Training”) Camps provide a variety of opportunities for campers to challenge themselves mentally and physically through daily outdoor adventures, all while under the guidance of highly skilled guides, trip leaders, and counselors.

In 2026, Petra Cliffs is offering a full summer of Classic Day Camp, two weeks of climbing-specific camp, and four overnight Expeditions.
