Grounded in a century of tradition, Pok-O-MacCready fosters growth by empowering campers to achieve independence, create friendships, and develop a deep appreciation of the natural world in the Adirondacks and beyond.
Activities include: hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing, blacksmithing, mountain-biking, sailing, swimming, and creative arts. Its Adirondack Park location gives access to miles of trails for both day and overnight trips. Facilities include a 19th-century farm, indoor rock climbing center, street hockey complex, swimming and boating docks, and rustic cabins tucked into the fields and forest. A screen-free setting and small cabin groups promote social growth and conflict resolution.
